Account and orders
Information required for account creation, orders, support and communication with the relevant vendor is processed.
Privacy and data
This policy explains what data is processed when you create an account, buy, sell, receive services or use MilMit, and what choices are available to you.
These cards do not replace the full text; they only highlight key points for quick review.
Information required for account creation, orders, support and communication with the relevant vendor is processed.
MilMit should never receive or store your card password, CVV2 or one-time payment password; payment is handled by the payment provider.
If Google, GitHub or SMS login is enabled, the data required for that process is exchanged with the relevant provider.
Data is retained only as needed for service delivery, legal records, security and dispute resolution.
This policy applies to the MilMit website, user accounts, shop, vendor marketplace, support and services provided through the site.
By using a feature that requires submitting information, you confirm that this policy and the related terms of use have been made available to you and reviewed. If you do not agree with processing required for a service, do not use that service.
The type of data depends on what you do on MilMit. Not every item below is collected from every user.
Name, username, email, phone number, address and information needed to create or manage an account.
Order number, product or service, amount, payment status, downloads, refunds and related order records.
For vendors: store information, products, related orders, support requests and information needed to manage the vendor account.
Request text, tickets, files or information you submit when contacting MilMit or a vendor.
IP address, browser, device, request time, security logs and technical information needed to diagnose errors and abuse.
Identifiers and minimum information required for login by email, SMS, Google or GitHub, depending on the enabled method.
Online payments are handled by a payment gateway or payment provider. Card security information such as passwords, CVV2 and one-time payment passwords must never be shared with MilMit, vendors or support.
MilMit may receive and retain transaction-result information such as payment status, amount, tracking identifier or information needed to reconcile an order.
If a refund requires banking information, only the information necessary to process the refund should be requested.
MilMit is a marketplace and also provides some products and services directly. When a product is supplied by an independent vendor, the order information needed to complete the sale and provide support may be shared with that vendor.
Independent technical providers may also receive the minimum data needed to operate certain features, depending on the services enabled on the site.
To process payment and report the transaction result.
To send OTP codes or notifications through the site’s active SMS service.
Only when social login is selected and only to authenticate that account.
For order handling, delivery, support and issues related to a product supplied by that vendor.
MilMit and its active plugins may use cookies, sessions or browser storage for login, the cart, language or appearance preferences, security, performance and usage analysis.
You can restrict or remove cookies in your browser settings, but features such as login, the cart or checkout may not work correctly without them.
MilMit does not claim a single arbitrary retention period for all data. Retention depends on the data type, account or order status, support needs, security, fraud prevention and legal requirements.
Some order and transaction records may be retained after account closure for legal, accounting or dispute-resolution purposes. Data no longer needed for a legitimate purpose should be deleted or anonymized where possible.
No online system can guarantee absolute security, but MilMit uses technical and administrative controls appropriate to the service to reduce risk.
Where permitted by law and the service structure, you may request corrections to account information, ask about your data, close your account or raise a privacy matter.
To prevent disclosure to another person, identity verification may be required before responding to some requests.
This policy may be updated as site features, third-party services or legal requirements change. The version published on this page is the current policy.
If you have a question about personal information, your account or this policy, submit a privacy request through the MilMit Request Center.
A precise request with the relevant order number or account details can be reviewed faster. Do not send sensitive banking information.
